Ahh yes Danny Pippin. No relation to Scottie Pippin. (as far as we know)
Danny worked managerial positions in retail for years before deciding he wanted to do more than that. He wanted to become a leader, a coach, an innovator. He wanted to encourage others to be the best they can be in a business sense.
Danny has long maintained a passion for not only customer service, but leadership, manager relations, and establishing brand. He sought to help folks be better leaders, better managers, and so on. He worked with companies to achieve maximum succession, and when he would visit a store and take charge, the business would see sales skyrocket because he was that good at working with people. He has a knack for getting leaders to get out of their own way, and see the forest from the trees.
Since Danny was and is a friend, we would hear Danny discuss these endeavors, so we decided to bring him on board with Purpl as a client first, and soon after a valued Purpl. team member. We took the time to really hone in on his brand and who his demographic is, and what he could bring to the retail game. Since he’s worked so heavily in it at a high level and knows it like the back of his hand, we knew he possessed the capabilities to coach it to the masses. The challenge was coming up with a way to get Danny to stand out in a world full of leaders, coaches, managers, etc. So many websites can be homogenous and look no different than the previous ten you just spent half an hour looking at- and that’s where we sought to bring a memorable aspect to his site in the form of a standout homepage photo and message. The mission was to present Danny in a way that is authentic and true to his mission. It was then that the light bulb flashed above our heads: a picture of Danny wearing half denim and half suit, vertically. Day to day denim Danny, and hard-working leader Danny. Boom. “Different Approach. Better Results.” We were a part of the evolution, branding, and rebranding of Danny the coach and leader. We pride ourselves on taking an idea and running with it, and that’s what we did with our friend and cohort Danny.
