Farm Girl Fit
So Farm Girl Fit. This was two girls, Janessa Walsh and Jenny Nieman, who did CrossFit together, and decided to start their own women-centric gym. One of their husbands was a real estate developer in town who’d worked with us in the past, so we received a direct referral to assist with their launch. Purpl. came in and listened to their ideas, and got a feel for the direction and market they were trying to hit. We designed a logo that came across as athletic and modern, and on par with the Nikes and Reeboks etc. of the world. As we often do, we helped broker relationships with photographers to nail some high quality photos. We helped them recognize their market and brand, and they ran with it. We provided the spark, and they started the fire.
A big part of their brand and design was their color scheme of purple and volt green. This is something that is very evident in their now multiple locations across the country. They’ve established a cult following as a tried and true gym, and it was such a pleasure watching them grow. Early on in their career when they just operated one Farm Girl Fit facility, they had an athletic director from a major university pop in and ask them how many locations they had, which spoke volumes on behalf of their professionalism and our branding. Naturally this spurred flattery and pride that we are proud to say we assisted in. It was a testament to strategic branding, smart marketing, and good old-fashioned hard work. We brought a look and appeal that didn’t scream start-up, but rather established and desired. It’s such an incredible feeling to see such great people you’ve worked with succeed!
